What they were up against

Rinehart Racing makes high-end performance exhaust systems for Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles. They were struggling for growth in a competitive category led by Vance and Hines as well as OEM branded parts. Rhinehart needed differentiated, memorable brand and promotional support to stand out from the competition and jump-start its sales momentum.

How we helped

We created a new brand position focused on the unique sound of Rinehart pipes, a critical driver for serious riders. We then developed a fully integrated, highly targeted campaign that included dealer POS support, visually dramatic print, a new product catalog, collateral materials and a digital program. We partnered with Rinehart to create brand experiences at several national shows including Daytona Bike Week, the International Motorcycle Show and NASCAR events. Rinehart had its most successful year in sales, outpacing Vance & Hines. At Daytona Bike Week, the digital campaign generated 1.7 million ad impressions. The digital campaign for the Sturgis Bike Rally generated average CTRs of 20% and 8.75 million impressions. The company experienced increases in brand recall, top-of-mind awareness, retail traffic, social engagement and sales at all key events.
