Even as one of the top 50 business schools in the country, Northern Illinois University is up against fierce competition in the Chicagoland area when it comes to MBA programs. They were looking for a new approach that would enhance and elevate their digital marketing efforts in order to generate more high quality leads.
What we did to help
One of the first insights NIU shared was how their faculty and staff not only focus on their students’ professional success, but also truly care about their personal development as well. They also spoke very highly about their “NIU Ambassadors”— alumni who wanted to share their MBA experience. Yamamoto immediately saw an opportunity to create a human-centric digital marketing campaign that would help NIU connect with prospective students in a way that felt authentic. It was also a way to stand out from other programs and help generate leads. After all, no one can explain the advantages of the NIU MBA program better than a happy Huskie.
